What’s striking is the journalistic parallels drawn between Vorcaro’s social engagements and those of Epstein. Vorcaro adeptly understood the value of networking, using extravagant gatherings to fortify relationships with influential figures critical to advancing his financial interests. At a particularly notorious Halloween bash in São Paulo's Madame Underground Club, a host of key congressional allies attended, including Davi Alcolumbre, the Senate president; former Senate leader Rodrigo Pacheco; and ex-communications minister Fabio Faria, who appears to have facilitated communication around the gatherings. The guest list raised eyebrows, alongside documentation that suggested Vorcaro had sought a troubling ratio of 120 women to just 20 men at his parties, notably requesting many to be young and of foreign origin, favoring Swiss nationals.

Communications intercepted by authorities suggest serious improprieties, echoing sinister undertones similar to those surrounding Epstein's infamous social circles. Faria was noted in texts discussing guest logistics: "Davi keeps asking if the Swiss girls are coming. If possible, please bring them," referencing Senate President Alcolumbre. Compounding the intrigue is evidence linking Ciro Nogueira, former head of Bolsonaro's government, to Vorcaro’s events.

On the other side, Flavio Bolsonaro has denied any involvement in these lavish soirées. Yet, chillingly, a recording surfaced where he solicited over 10 million euros from Vorcaro, ostensibly for financing projects related to his father's film, Dark Horse.

The root of these predatory practices lies in the deregulation of the banking sector during Bolsonaro’s administration, which allowed for severe financial exploitation amid skyrocketing interest rates. Corruption permeated not just Bolsonaro’s circle; allegations extend to the government of Bahia, where leaders from the Workers' Party, Rui Costa and Jacques Wagner, also face scrutiny from federal investigators.

Vorcaro and his associate Augusto Lima replicated their exploitative strategies across both left and right-leaning state governments. Instances of government officials cozying up to Vorcaro are rampant; Cláudio Castro, the Jair Bolsonaro-aligned governor of Rio, dined lavishly with Vorcaro, the costs of which included extravagant meals charged at 2,000 dollars each and high-end whiskey tastings totaling a million dollars, all while placing substantial public pension funds into Banco Master.

The implications of the ongoing investigation are shifting the spotlight back onto both candidates in the race, although Flavio remains the only one directly linked to Vorcaro. Recent federal police leaks suggest that Alexandre de Moraes, a notably respected judge who became a left-leaning hero for his staunch defense of democracy against Bolsonaro's regime, also frequented Vorcaro's parties, raising questions about his integrity. De Moraes even journeyed to London for a lavish 650,000-dollar whisky tasting attended by fellow judicial elites—ironically a gathering that would tarnish his previously unblemished image.
